Iβm Kate
As a therapist and coach who has ADHD and ADHD-related OCD, I know what it feels like to live with time blindness, intrusive thoughts, compulsive checking, lack of organization, emotion dysregulation, rejection sensitivity, and the never ending shame spiral. Fifteen jobs across five countries, a slew of unfinished projects, never having the confidence in myself to finish anything β Iife indeed felt like staring at the base of a huge mountain without the energy or gear to climb it.
When I finally got my diagnosis in adulthood β it was a lightbulb π‘ moment! Through my masters in mental health counseling at the University of Pennsylvania and my clinical and coaching trainings, I immersed myself in everything about ADHD and OCD and was able to rewire my brain through the strategies and tools specific to these conditions. As a result of my own learning and growth, Iβve come to believe that change can happen for everyone.
You need somebody who understands why your brain π§ works the way it does β work with it, not against it.

My Approach:
My Sessions Are Not:
Not talk therapy
I can only provide therapy to Pennsylvania residents
For therapy: Although ADHD and OCD can co-occur with such conditions like drug addictions, eating disorders, trauma, etc. I only process these through an ADHD or OCD lens in a therapy setting since these are not my areas of specializations. I recommend clients seek another therapist to address these issues along with ADHD treatment or first address whichever one is impacting them the most.
For ADHD coaching: Coaching is not therapy and itβs not designed to treat trauma, depression, family relational issues, bipolar, and other clinical issues. To learn more the differences between coaching and therapy, click here. If these conditions are impacting your life along with ADHD, I urge you to seek therapy alongside ADHD coaching.
Together my clients and I have found that what seemed daunting is finally possible. After graduating from either coaching or therapy, my clients sum up their feelings in two words β I can.
